Why film, and why ours
Your front end takes the daily beating — gravel, sand, highway debris, the truck ahead of you on I-25. PPF is a nearly invisible polyurethane barrier that takes those hits so your paint doesn't, keeping the factory finish clean underneath.
Installation happens in a clean, controlled environment by certified, trained installers — because with film, the install is as important as the product.
Questions people actually ask
What is Paint Protection Film and how does it work?
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a 7–10 mil thick polyurethane film designed to protect painted surfaces from open-road hazards like gravel, bug acid, and bird droppings — preventing chips and scratches from ever happening. Inquire today for more information.
How long does Paint Protection Film last?
Xpel Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. How you care for the film installed on your vehicle determines whether it reaches that 10-year mark. Keeping the film clean, coated, and cared for helps keep the elasticity in the film, which helps it continue to do its job.
Can PPF be removed without damaging my existing painted surface?
That depends on whether you have factory paint or an aftermarket repaint. With proper equipment, the film can be removed without damaging factory paint. Repainted panels carry a high risk of paint removal when the film is taken off.
Is the film visible on the vehicle once installed?
Most of the time what's visible is the edges of the film. Installed correctly, the film is virtually hard to detect. With wrapped edges and full coverage it disappears; partial coverage will show an edge.
What is the aftercare like for my freshly installed film?
Aftercare is important. Keeping the film clean of bug splatter, bird droppings, and harsh chemicals from winter roads is vital to prolonging the film's life. Covering it with a wax or ceramic coating also helps keep the film looking new. Most importantly, avoid using a pressure sprayer closer than 36" to the film — this helps preserve the film's life and its bond to your paint.
Protect it before the first rock chip.
