Metal, moved back where it belongs.
Paintless dent repair uses specialized tools for both steel and aluminum to reshape the metal by massaging it back to its original stamped shape. With heat and reflective lighting, that's achieved in a fraction of the time of conventional repair methods. If the back side of the damage isn't accessible, specialized glue and tabs gently lift the damage from the outside. These methods remove the damage without body fillers, aggressive sanding, repainting, or replacing panels — preserving the factory finish and seals, and maintaining original value. It's the core of what we've done since 2011, and we're Master ARC and T-Form Certified in it.
Everyday dents — door dings to parking-lot mishaps
The shopping cart that got away. The door that swung open just a little too far and hit yours. The mystery crease that appeared out of nowhere. These are the bread and butter of PDR. Everyday dents and dings range from BB-size to 4" or more, and most small and medium dents are repaired in hours, not days, at a fraction of conventional body-shop cost. The best part: the finish stays factory and the value holds.
Large dents and creases
The myth that PDR can't handle dents larger than hail dents, dents on body lines, or dents on aluminum panels — yeah, that's not true. Paintless dent repair is great for exactly these dents and more. At KCL Creations, our lead technician is T-Form certified and successfully repairs large damage from 4" on up to reconstructing the entire shape of a panel — flat open surfaces to deep body-line dents, creases in steel to creases in aluminum. If we can't fix it, we tell you. No games played here: honesty or nothing.
Creases and body-line dents
A crease across a body line is the kind of dent people are told can't be done with PDR. Most of them can. As long as the paint is intact, big creases and dents across body lines are repairable with paintless dent repair, and the 2023 Rivian R1S in the before and after below was dented right on a body line. Our technicians assess size, depth, and location and give you a straight verdict. When a dent needs bodywork, we tell you that too.
Body lines are the hardest part of a panel to get right, because the eye goes straight to them. A crease is worked out in stages: the metal is relieved from the ends of the crease toward the deepest point, and the body line is brought back sharp and straight, checked against the reflection on the light board until the lines run true again. That takes longer than a round ding, and the estimate reflects it, but the factory paint stays on the car.
Aluminum panels
Paintless dent repair works on aluminum as well as steel, and we use specialized tools for both. Aluminum shows up on more vehicles every year, on hoods, lift gates, fenders and whole truck bodies, and it behaves differently from steel: it is less forgiving, so it takes controlled heat, patience and tools made for it. Our lead technician is T-Form certified and repairs creases in aluminum as well as creases in steel. Not sure what your panel is made of? Tell us the year, make and model when you send your photo and we will know.
Motorcycles — tanks, fenders, and the pride you ride
A dented tank on a bike you love is personal. We run motorcycle-specific PDR tools and stands that let us access and repair tank and fender dents without disturbing paint or aftermarket finishes.
Vintage & classic vehicles
On a classic, originality is the value — which makes PDR the right philosophy: less aggressive repairs, no repaint, no color-match risk, and the factory character of the panel preserved — making paintless dent repair the clear and right choice for keeping your vintage investment dent-free and its value high.
Older paint can be thinner, harder or already touched up, so every classic starts with a close look at the finish before any tool goes near it. We tell you up front which dents can come out cleanly with PDR and which would risk the paint, and you decide. Nothing gets filled, sanded or repainted to make a classic look straight.
How to photograph your dent for an estimate
For dents and dings that are not hail damage, a few good phone photos are enough for a team member to come back with a price range. Hail damage is different: we need to see the vehicle in person, because photos cannot show every dent the light board finds.
- Take one wide shot of the whole panel so we can see where the dent sits and whether it crosses a body line or an edge.
- Take two close shots from an angle, not straight on. A dent shows up best when light runs across the panel, not when you point the camera directly at it.
- Use a reflection. Line the dent up with a straight reflection, such as a building edge, a fence line or a garage light, so the bend in the reflection shows the shape of the dent.
- Shoot in even light. Open shade or a bright overcast day works better than direct sun or a dark garage.
- Show the paint. If there is a chip, crack or scratch in the dent, get it in a close-up. PDR depends on intact paint.
- Add the details: year, make and model, and which panel it is. Send it all through the estimate form on this page.
If the damage is too complex to judge from a photo, we may still ask to see it in person.
Why paintless dent repair (PDR) beats conventional repair
- Faster — hours to days instead of weeks
- More affordable — on average, PDR costs 50%–65% less than conventional repairs
- Less invasive — factory fitments and factory seals stay intact
- Perfect color match — because the original paint never leaves
- Value preserved — no CARFAX entry from us
Hail, film, and coating at the same shop
Storm damage follows its own process. See auto hail repair: hail has to be seen in person, and we work with your insurance company on the claim. Once the metal is straight, paint protection film guards against rock chips and Colorado road debris, and ceramic coating with paint correction keeps the finish easier to wash and maintain.
KCL Creations is based in Loveland at 551 N Denver Ave and services all of Northern Colorado, including Fort Collins, Windsor, Greeley, Berthoud, Johnstown, and Longmont.

Real jobs, real phones-out photos from the shop — no stock imagery. The reflection lines on the light board show every high and low; when they run straight again, the dent is gone.

Questions people actually ask
Can PDR fix large dents and creases, or just little dings?
Most dents — including big ugly creases and dents across body lines — are repairable with PDR as long as the paint is intact. Our technicians assess size, depth, and location and give you a straight verdict; when a dent genuinely needs bodywork, we tell you that too.
Can you repair dents in motorcycle tanks and fenders?
Yes. We have specialized tools and stands built for motorcycle work and have had great success on tanks and fenders. From Harley-Davidsons to Yamahas, we fix them all.
Can you repair dents in plastic or steel bumpers?
Plastic bumpers: case by case — we've had great success removing dents from them. Steel and chrome bumpers: no; they're generally too thick for PDR tools and processes.
Will PDR void my manufacturer's warranty?
No — PDR is preferred and recommended by most vehicle manufacturers and insurance companies precisely because it leaves the factory finish untouched. And in most cases, you can't even tell the repair was ever performed or that the damage ever existed.
Will the repair show on a CARFAX report?
PDR performed by us generates no body-shop record, so it most often will not appear on a CARFAX report unless an insurance claim is filed.
How do I get a price?
Use the estimate form on this page — your name, phone, vehicle, and a photo of the damage. That gives our team the details we need to come back with a real price range in one pass. If the damage is too complex to judge from a photo, we may ask to see it in person.
